OPPLE’s professional lighting team traveled to the Middle East this November. In an effort to increase brand awareness amongst local dealers, contractors and engineers three training seminars were held in Jeddah, Riyadh and Iran. While making advances into foreign markets it is important to provide local experts with the tools and information required to demonstrate the true quality and value OPPLE’s professional lighting portfolio has to offer. The more potential customers know and see of OPPLE the more likely it will be that they use OPPLE luminaries.
Product managers shared OPPLE’s company story, key case studies and new products. Event participants were impressed by the cost to quality ratio that OPPLE’s professional portfolio offers. Availability and transparency are integral components to successfully entering markets outside the mainland. Seminars create a welcoming environment and make knowledgeable OPPLE employees available to attendees. By sending a professional lighting team to the Middle East to conduct these seminars OPPLE demonstrated the genuine commitment it has to this local market.
In Jeddah, Sameer Ismail, the chief engineer that oversaw the installation of OPPLE products in the Mövenpick Hotel, spoke about the benefits he has seen since replacing all of the incandescent bulbs in the hotel with OPPLE LED. He commented on the overall reduction in energy consumption due to the energy efficiency of LED technology as well as the small amount of heat omitted from the OPPLE bulbs. It was very effective to have a satisfied customer at the seminar attesting to the value OPPLE products have to offer a business and the environment in terms of reducing energy consumption.
