Xiuhui Ma, born in 1971 in Zhejiang, Jinyun, founded OPPLE in 1996 in Guzhen, Zhongshan. She is the public face of the company and has been crowned lighting queen of China by major news outlets.
Yaohai Wang, born in 1967 and graduate of CEIBS is the co-founder of OPPLE and husband of Xiuhui Ma. He oversees all of product and manufacturing related operations of the company.
Herman Wu, graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, has over 20 years of experience in finance and company governance at Coca Cola, Philips, Teva and Haworth. Herman joined OPPLE in 2011 as Director of Corporate Control and was promoted to Company Secretary in 2012.
Chief Executive Officer - China
Ding Long, graduate of the Shanghai University of Science and Technology in 1991, has 23 years of lighting experience at Philips and Elec-Tech International. Ding joined OPPLE as Vice President of the professional lighting business unit in March 2012 and was promoted to CEO of China in 2014.
Chief Technical Officer
Qi Xiaoming, graduate of the Nanyang Technological University in electrical engineering in 1995 has experience working at both Pepperl+Fuchs and Philips, most recently serving as Senior R&D Director for the Asia Pacific Region at Philips. Qi joined OPPLE as CTO in November 2011.
Vice President Outsourcing
Wayne Ma, graduate of CEIBS, joined OPPLE in 2006 as Supply Chain Director. In June 2012 he was promoted to Vice President of Outsourcing.
Managing Director – Europe
Jeroen Janssen, graduate of the Haarlem School of Business Management in International Business Management in 1996, has extensive experience in lighting and most recently served as the Managing Director of Philips Lighting for Sub-Saharan Africa. Jeroen Janssen joined OPPLE to lead the company’s international expansion in Europe.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Winfield Tang, MBA graduate of the Fudan-BI Norwegian School of Management has over 20 years of experience in human resource and sales management at Unilever, B&Q, Kraft and Tesco. Winfield joined OPPLE in November 2014 as CHO.
